Our commitment

Michael Roger, Inc. and Decomposition Book are committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice recognition software, and switch devices.

We are working to make the experience on decomposition.com as accessible as possible. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our standard. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities and is the standard most widely referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project, and we keep working to improve the experience as our site evolves.

What we have done so far

Designed our pages so that content can be reached by keyboard navigation
Provided text alternatives for the product images on our site
Used clear, consistent navigation and page structure
Included a "Skip to content" link so users of assistive technology can move past navigation quickly
Designed our pages to be readable when zoomed up to 200%
Selected color combinations that meet WCAG AA contrast requirements wherever text is used
Ensured the site works with the current versions of major screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) on commonly used browsers

What we are still working on

We know that no site is ever perfectly accessible, and parts of our site still need improvement. We are actively working on:

Adding or improving descriptive text alternatives for images and videos
Ensuring all interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard
Reviewing color contrast on promotional and seasonal pages
Improving accessibility of any embedded third-party content

If you find content on our site that doesn't meet these goals, we want to know.

Third-party content

Some pages on our site include content from third-party services (for example, embedded social media posts, payment processing during checkout, or content from connected apps). We do not control the accessibility of these services, but we work to choose vendors that prioritize accessibility, and we will help you complete any task on the site by phone or email if a third-party tool gets in the way.
